Elizabeth Badger, a Care Assistant from Lowestoft who has been with Hales for over two years, has won the Hales Heroes Monthly Draw for May.
The Hales Heroes Monthly Draw is an incentive in place that aims to recognise the exceptional work of Hales Care Workers. Hales Care Workers who meet the criteria are entered into the draw for a chance to win £1,000 each month. Additionally, all eligible carers also receive the Hales Heroes Award of Excellence badge in recognition of their exceptional performance.
Chelsea Graham, Registered Branch Manager for Hales in Lowestoft, shared that “Elizabeth was in absolute disbelief” about receiving the award and was “over the moon.”
Elizabeth has been a part of the Hales team for over two years, working part-time in Lowestoft. When talking about what she loves about her role, she stated: “I love the difference I can make to people’s lives simply by helping and assisting with day-to-day aspects of living or having a chat.”
When asked about working for Hales, Elizabeth said “Hales is a fantastic place to work, with opportunity to progress and a really approachable team as well as the office/management team being really helpful and understanding if you are ever unsure or need advice.”
The Hales Heroes Monthly Draw has since had the chance to recognise the hard work of many more carers including Charmaine Askew from Rotherham and Danielle Tannalill from Leicester, both of which have received their £1,000 award.
