Leeds Care Worker Wins £1,000 in Hales Heroes Draw

18 June | By

Congratulations to every Hales care worker who qualified for the Hales Heroes draw in April and to Tia Gibbon on winning £1,000.

Having joined Hales as a care worker early this year, Tia was overjoyed to have been recognised for the work she does, she commented: “I am thankful for Hales providing opportunities like this to give back to their hard-working and selfless care workers. I’m proud to work with such amazing people. I’m so pleased we are finally celebrated and receiving the recognition from society that care workers deserve.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Care Workers for continuing to work and provide care for our vulnerable service users. We are incredibly grateful for your remarkable resilience during these difficult times.

We believe it is only by supporting our workforce, rewarding them well for the work that they do and recognising the challenges they face that the industry can start to raise the profile of care workers.

With the current global health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing demand for care at home, care workers are under growing pressure. This is why it is so important to recognise those who are committed to the service, whilst also encouraging new recruits into the industry.

If you want to make a difference to the lives of the elderly and vulnerable in our community, contact us Hales Care to start a career in care. To apply and for more details, please call Hales Care FREE on 0800 124 4765 or email work@halesgroup.co.uk
