Hales Homecare recognises Jubilee care heroes

In commemoration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, regional homecare provider Hales Group recognises seven care workers for decades of outstanding service

This year has seen eleven Hales care workers celebrating their 10-year work anniversary, with many more colleagues also celebrating significant work anniversaries with one achieving an incredible 29 years of service.

With many branches seeing over 70 years of combined experience and incredible loyalty to the company and dedication to their duties, Hales Group have marked the occasion with special awards.

In honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Hales Group announces their own “Jubilee Heroes” – a group of seven dedicated care professionals who have dedicated their lives looking after the most vulnerable people in our society.

Hales Jubilee Care Heroes Awardees

  1. Alison Kingston-Miles, 29 years – The Old Maltings
  2. Carol Jacobi, 18 years – Scunthorpe
  3. Amanda Johnson, 13 years – Peterborough
  4. Lindsay Farrell – 10 years, Ashby Meadows
  5. Tanya Harries – 10 years, Grimsby
  6. Georgina Mobbs – 10 years, Peterborough
  7. Donna Sturman – 10 years, Lowestoft

Nicola Mewse, Hales Group Managing Director commented:We are incredibly blessed to have committed and selfless colleagues in the Hales Homecare team who like Queen Elizabeth have dedicated themselves to their duty, caring for the most vulnerable members of their communities.

All of our Homecare colleagues are heroes in our eyes but this once in a lifetime event of the Platinum Jubilee felt like the perfect opportunity to applaud and thank those who are truly outstanding.

As a symbol of gratitude for their loyalty, hard work and commitment, each of the Hales Jubilee Heroes will receive a Jubilee-themed Platinum Hero certificate as well as £70 in Care Friends points.

In addition, 23 care colleagues have also been awarded with Long Service Award certificates.
