Hales Home Care in Grimsby has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission following a recent inspection

CQC’s inspectors found that Hales Home Care Grimsby provides high quality, safe, caring and well-led care to its service users.



Nicola Mewse, Hales Managing Director, said: “We are delighted that the CQC have recognised all of the hard work the Grimsby team have done to raise standards in home care.”

The CQC report highlights how service users felt safe with the service they receive and the quality of care workers. One service user said, “I find the service very good, I feel safe with the carers.” A relative added, “My relative is very safe with the carers. I have absolutely no worries at all about their safety.”

Inspectors also found that service users were respected and supported to have choice over their care and are encouraged to remain independent.

Hales care workers were also praised by the inspectors for having the required skills and knowledge to meet the service users’ needs.

When asked about their job, one care worker said, “I enjoy my job, and the registered manager and office staff are always there for support when needed.” The care workers were also positive about Hales Home Care’s induction and the ongoing training they completed for their role.
