Hales Care Awards Postponed Following COVID-19 Outbreak

19 March | By

The 2020 Hales Care Awards, which were due to take place tomorrow, have been postponed.

Statement from Nicola Mewse, Hales Managing Director:

“There has never been a more relevant time to appreciate the incredible team we are lucky enough to work within Hales Home Care. The Care Awards are our way of recognising amazing achievements and sharing outstanding stories of care, initiative, teamwork and innovation.

However, the COVID-19 outbreak has made the ability to come together and share this event much more challenging. Part of the joy of winning an award is finding out alongside your colleagues, and being presented with your prizes by guests to your locations.

In order to ensure we can prioritise resources into dealing with the current challenges of this pandemic, we have taken the very difficult decision to delay the Care Awards for the time being. The winners trophies are safe and we look forward to rescheduling the announcements and organising celebratory events in the coming weeks when it is safe to do so.

We thank you for your understanding and we thank you wholeheartedly for your continued commitment to the wellbeing of our vulnerable service users.”

Please keep an eye on this page for future announcements.
