Name: Nicola House

Job Title: Registered Manager

Nicola began her career as a care worker in 2013. She quickly realised she had found her calling, and after two years, she enrolled to complete her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Motivated to further her career in care, Nicola progressed to Senior Carer, Assessor, and eventually Care Coordinator. She then enrolled at university to complete her FdSc in Health & Social Care. Shortly after, Nicola joined Hales as a Care Manager. Her passion for building relationships and expanding her knowledge led her to take a position as a Care Manager at an Extra Care site in Hull. Nicola’s ambition and commitment eventually saw her progress to the role of Registered Manager at the Doncaster branch, a position she has held for the past year and a half. In July 2023, Nicola graduated from Hull University with a BSc (Hons) in Mental Health & Wellbeing.

As a Registered Manager, Nicola is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of care for all service users. She is equally committed to supporting and developing her care workers and office staff, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to deliver high-quality care.
