Hales Group MD takes on “100 Skips a Day” Challenge for Cancer Research UK

Hales Managing Director, Nicola Mewse, is raising money for Cancer Research UK by completing 100 skips a day in June.

Nicola Mewse, the Managing Director of Hales Group, has taken on an inspiring challenge to support Cancer Research UK. Throughout the month of June, Nicola will be completing 100 skips a day to raise funds and awareness for the organisation.

Having experienced the physical and emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis and treatment herself in October 2022, Nicola is using this challenge to increase her strength and regain some fitness, while contributing to the vital work of Cancer Research UK.

She shared, “I’m living with the aftermath of a cancer diagnosis, surgery and treatment but thanks to great progress in the treatment of some cancers my prognosis is very positive. My next goal is to rebuild my stamina and overall wellbeing. To help with this, I am going to be completing 100 skips a day in June to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Skipping is free and accessible for everyone, and you can’t help but smile whilst doing it, so I’d encourage others to get outside and try it.

Cancer Research UK is a charity dedicated to advancing cancer research, improving treatments, and supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. Funds raised through this initiative will contribute to their ongoing efforts.

You can join Nicola’s cause by pledging your support or making donations to Cancer Research UK. Every contribution, no matter how small, can have a significant impact on advancing cancer research and finding a cure. Click here for more details and to donate >>
