Hales Home Care is recruiting for Community Care Workers / Care Assistants in and around Huddersfield to provide person-centred care to people in the own homes, maintaining their health and well-being and retain their independence. Working as part of our local team, you will be supporting individuals with their personal care routines, including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs. You will ensure they have grocery supplies, help them take their medication, provide warm and nourishing meals, and help with light domestic chores.New to care?

The Care Assistant Role
- Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs.
- Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies.
- Assisting individuals in taking their medication.
- Preparing warm and nourishing meals.
- Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs.
- Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals.
The Ideal Hales Care Assistant
- Passionate about helping others.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required.
- Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records
- Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
