As a Home Care Assistant / Carer / Care Worker in Bradford, you will provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain or regain their health, well-being, and independence. Areas covered: Bradford, Wyke, Oakenshaw, Clayton Heights, Queensbury, Buttershaw, Lowmoor, Westwood Park, Horton Bank Top, and the surrounding areas Shifts or hours available:
  • Full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts to suit your lifestyle
  • Sitting Nights - 8PM-8AM
  • Other shift patterns/non regular bank work may be available – contact us to discuss

The Care Assistant Role

  • Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs
  • Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
  • Assisting individuals in taking their medication
  • Preparing warm and nourishing meals
  • Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs
  • Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

The Ideal Hales Care Assistant

  • Passionate about helping others.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records
  • Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required.
