Hales Group Expands Staff Recognition Programme After Awarding Nearly £100,000 to Care Professionals

Hales Group has announced the expansion of its staff recognition programme, building on the success of Hales Heroes, which has recognised thousands of care professionals and awarded almost £100,000 in prizes since launching in 2017.

Created to celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond, Hales Heroes has become a cornerstone of the organisation’s culture, spotlighting the dedication, compassion and commitment shown by care teams across Hales’ branch network.

The programme is now being enhanced with the introduction of the Hales Group Awards, transforming the long-running monthly initiative into a group-wide annual celebration. The new awards will recognise outstanding individuals and teams across all parts of the business, including Hales Homecare and Hales Jobs.

The awards will celebrate colleagues who live the organisation’s core values—Help, Advice, Listen, Encourage and Support—whether delivering exceptional care in people’s homes, supporting candidates into employment, or strengthening teams behind the scenes.

Nicola Mewse, Group Managing Director at Hales, said:

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Since launching Hales Heroes, we’ve been proud to recognise so many inspiring individuals who consistently go above and beyond and truly live our values. Introducing the Hales Group Awards allows us to celebrate excellence across the entire organisation and shine a light on the incredible work happening in every department.”

Colleagues, clients and care users will be invited to nominate individuals and teams who make a meaningful difference and exemplify the values that define Hales Group.

By expanding its recognition programme, Hales Group continues to invest in its people and strengthen a culture where commitment, compassion and achievement are celebrated every day.

We look forward to recognising the outstanding individuals and teams who continue to make Hales Group a place where people feel supported, valued and proud of the work they do.
