I have been working in the care sector for 7 years. I began my journey with Niche Care in 2028 and in 2021, I transferred to Hales following their acquisition of Niche. I chose to continue with Hales because their vision and values closely aligned with my own.
What motivates me in my role is knowing that the work I do improves the quality of life of our service users. It gives me a deep sense of purpose. Supporting vulnerable individuals and ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care is incredibly fulfilling.
Career pathway
I started my first job in the care sector in 2018 as a care worker. After a year, I progressed to the role of Supervisor, then became a Care Coordinator for 4 years. For the past 2 years, I’ve been the Registered Manager for the Sheffield branch.
