About me

I am driven by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives through high-quality, person-centred care. Supporting and developing a strong, reliable care team motivates me daily, as does ensuring our service consistently meets the highest standards. Knowing that my work helps improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals is what truly inspires me.

What I enjoy most about my role is the ability to make a real difference – both to the people we support and to the staff delivering their care. I thrive on problem-solving, driving quality, and seeing the positive impact of strong leadership, especially when it comes to supporting my team, improving standards, and ensuring service users receive consistent, person-centred care.

Career pathway

I started as a Care Worker working part time around my daughter’s school hours and then progressed to full time whilst pregnant with my youngest daughter.

I joined Hales in 2021 as a Care Team Manager and began working at an Extra Care site in Hull, where I remained for 18 months. I then transitioned to the Doncaster branch, where I progressed into the role of Registered Manager. My advancement into this position developed organically as a result of my experience and dedication.

Other roles I held along the way include Senior Carer, Quality Assurance Officer, and Care Coordinator.
