I have been working in the care sector for 21 years. I started out as a Care Worker at the age of 19, then progressed to become a Care Coordinator, followed by a role as Care Manager at an Extra Care site.
I was keen to progress in my career and take on a management role, so in 2016, I joined Hales as the Registered Manager of the Scunthorpe branch. Since then, I’ve moved into a wider role as Registered Regional Manager, overseeing services in Grimsby, Lincolnshire and Strand Court Extra Care.
What motivates me in my role is running a branch that constantly strives to provide the highest standard of care. I’m proud to work alongside an incredibly dedicated office team and group of care workers who all work tirelessly to make this happen. Knowing we’re making a real difference together is what drives me every day.
