Caring has always come naturally to me, and I’ve always wanted a career where I could make a difference to other people’s lives.
I joined Hales in 2023 while looking for a role closer to home. After researching, I connected with Hales’ core values and knew it was the kind of successful, values-driven company I wanted to be part of and I am so pleased I made that decision!
What truly motivates me in my role is knowing the work I do directly impacts the lives of vulnerable individuals. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment for my team, where they feel valued and empowered. Seeing them grow and deliver outstanding care motivates me to be the best Manager I can be.
Career pathway
I began my career in care in 2015, when I started my degree in Mental Health Nursing and worked as a Care Assistant at a local mental health hospital.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked as a Care Assistant, Senior Assistant, Care Coordinator, Care Manager, and eventually, Registered Manager.
