About me

I’ve been proudly part of the care sector for 12 vibrant years, growing and learning every step of the way.

I joined the Hales family in February 2021 and haven’t looked back since. I came to Hales through the acquisition of Niche Care, and though it felt daunting at first, it turned out to be the best leap I ever took! Four and a half years later, I’m still here, thriving and loving the journey with a team that shares my passion for exceptional care.

I’m driven by the amazing people I work with and our shared mission to deliver top-notch care while keeping our workforce smiling! Knowing we’re all pulling together to create positive outcomes for our service users lights up my day and fuels my passion.

Career pathway

I kicked off my career in the finance team, handling invoices, but the care industry’s heart and soul captured me! Learning about the sector ignited a spark, and I couldn’t wait to dive in. I swapped numbers for nurturing.

I’ve worn many hats on this exciting journey from Invoice Officer to Quality Officer, Quality Manager, Registered Manager, Operations Director, Regional Director, Quality Director, and now, I’m thrilled to lead as Head of Quality and Workforce Development, shaping the future of care!

My love for quality systems and processes drives me, great processes mean exceptional care! I thrive on creating and embedding new systems from scratch, watching them transform the field for the better. Leading as Head of Quality and Workforce Development lets me make a real difference, and I’m all in for that challenge.
