I’ve worked in the care sector for over 25 years. I joined Hales Group in 2016 to support the Leeds contract after a friend recommended the role.
What motivates me in my role is knowing I can make a real difference in someone’s life. Seeing our care team bring smiles to people when they need it most is incredibly rewarding.
Career pathway
I started my career in care by chance while studying at university and transitioning from military service. I needed a job to cover tuition fees and applied for a bank care worker role, and I’ve never looked back.
