Care Friends Sponsors Supporting Role Award at Hales Group Awards

Hales Group is pleased to announce Care Friends as the sponsor of the Person in Supporting Role of the Year Award at the Hales Group Awards 2026.

The Hales Group Awards build on the success of the Hales Heroes scheme, which has recognised and rewarded care professionals across the business since 2017. The new awards bring together colleagues from across Hales Homecare, Hales Jobs and the wider group, recognising excellence, dedication and impact across the entire organisation.

The ‘Person in Supporting Role’ Award recognises individuals working in non-frontline or behind-the-scenes roles who go above and beyond to support others, keep services running smoothly and make a meaningful difference to colleagues, service users or candidates.

Care Friends, a leading employee referral and engagement platform for the care sector, shares Hales Group’s commitment to recognising and rewarding the people who support and strengthen care services every day.

Neil Eastwood, Care Friends CEO, said:

“Care Friends is proud to support the 2026 Hales Group Awards. It’s a privilege to help celebrate the extraordinary contributions made across an organisation known for its positive and supportive culture. This year, we’re sponsoring the Person in Supporting Role award, shining a light on the often-unsung heroes whose dedication behind the scenes enables care and support workers to focus on delivering outstanding care every day.”

Nicola Mewse, Group Managing Director, said:

“We’re proud to be launching the Hales Group Awards as a way to recognise the incredible people across our organisation who live our values every day. Recognition matters, and it’s fantastic to have the support of partners like Care Friends, who share our commitment to celebrating the individuals behind the scenes.”
